Poem: You Deserve

You Deserve
to be seen
to say yes
to say no
to change your mind
to take a long bath
to have the door opened for you
to be kissed passionately
to be held and loved for who you are
to enjoy music and songs that bring you joy
to cause a smile daily
to wear pajamas all day long
to have clean water and air
to have a meal prepared for you
to receive a Thank You. Please. Hello.

  1. Hmmm…what else do I deserve? I’m tempted to say a sign with Mum’s Taxi for my car, but since your poem is so light and positive and free, I suppose I should follow suit! *taps fingers on desk* Nope, I’ve got nothing! My head is full of cotton wool and it’s only the beginning of the year πŸ˜‰
