Poem: Supported Hurt

Fun experiment, this poem can be read backward, forward, odd lines or even lines. What’s your take?

Supported Hurt.  By Cassie Newell

I never felt alone until

You always kissed my face

I ran back to the light quietly

You held my hand assured

I could smell the rain threaten

You waivered beyond untruths

I’d been pierced by inaction

You led the charge of fire
