Poem: A Day of Time

A Day of Time

Midnight whispering just before sleep, where

sunrise smiles from thieving toddlers, as

noon professions fling waves of inspiration, while

evening rest falls upon a new cycle.

Poem: The Paused Yes

The Paused Yes

Pearls of wisdom cast forth her inmost thoughts, doubtful balance poising a rampant fantasy upon her future.

Artificial breaths, he held onto pretensions of next steps descending over an engagement with bliss.

He held out the ring in hope.

She said —

Yes.

Poem: Will You

Will you promise to be there should I fall,

Will you remember that vow when I run,

Will you become the home where I belong?
